CDL truck drivers can expect to earn ON AVERAGE $41,110 their first year. OTR CDL truck drivers earn up to $90,000 their first year on average. 5 STAR CDL HAS PARTNERED WITH LOCAL COMPANIES WITH STARTING SALARIES AT $78K 1ST YEAR SALARIES. Local drivers could be making up to $88,710 or more. OTR companies pay up to $97,000 on second year averages. THIRD YEAR SALARIES OR MORE. You could be making $96,000 to $102,000 or more. During your training, we will work with you and point you in the direction of an employer that best suits your needs. Many of our students receive, and often accept, job offers from national carriers before the end of their training, which allows them to start earning a paycheck very soon after graduating. • Negative Driving Record 
• RECKLESS DRIVING (NO MORE THAN 2 IN THE LAST 5 YEARS)
• Criminal Record – Misdemeanors and Felony Convictions 
• DUI (NO MORE THAN 1 IN THE LAST 10 YEARS) 
• No Diploma 
• Under 21 Years of age has to stay local until 21 years of age 
• RECENTLY OBTAINED DRIVERS LICENSE
